MUSLIM HERITAGE IN America :

 

Have you ever been to a Muslim hospital, heard a Muslim orchestra, seen a Muslim band march in a parade, witnessed a Muslim charity, shaken hands with a Muslim Girl Scout, seen a Muslim Candy Striper, or seen a Muslim do anything that contributes positively to the American way of life ????

The answer is no, you did not.  Just ask yourself WHY ???

Dear Mr. Obama:

Were those
Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims
first landed? Funny, I thought they were
Native American Indians.

Were those
Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving
day? Sorry again, those were Pilgrims and
Native American Indians.

Can you
show me one Muslim signature on the United
States Constitution?

Declaration
of Independence ?

Bill of
Rights?

Didn’t
think so.

Did
Muslims fight for this country’s freedom from
England ? No.

Did
Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the
slaves in America ?
No, they did not.
In fact, Muslims to this day are
still the largest traffickers in human
slavery. Your own half-brother, a devout
Muslim, still advocates slavery himself, even
though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black
Muslims as “pug nosed slaves.”
Says a lot of what the Muslim world really thinks of your
family’s “rich Islamic heritage,” doesn’t it Mr. Obama?

Where were
Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this
country? Not present.

There are no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking
side by side with Martin Luther King, Jr. or
helping to advance the cause of Civil Rights.

Where were
Muslims during this country’s Woman’s Suffrage
era?

Again, not present.
In fact, devout Muslims demand that women are subservient
to men in the Islamic culture. So much so,
that often they are beaten for not wearing the
‘hajib’ or for talking to a man who is not a
direct family member or their husband.
Yep, the Muslims are all for women’s rights,
aren’t they?

Where were
Muslims during World War II? They were
aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim
grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler,
reviewed the troops and accepted support from
the Nazi’s in killing Jews.

Finally,
Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th,
2001? If they weren’t flying planes into
the World Trade Center , the Pentagon or a field
in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on
our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle
East .  No one can dispute the pictures
shown from all parts of the Muslim world
celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other
cable news networks that day.  Strangely,
the very “moderate” Muslims who’s asses you bent
over backwards to kiss in Cairo , Egypt on June
4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To
many Americans, their silence has meant approval
for the acts of that day.

And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the
“rich heritage” Muslims have here
in America .

Oh, I’m sorry, I forgot to mention
the Barbary Pirates.
They were Muslim.

And now we can
add November 5, 2009 – the slaughter of American
soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major who is a
doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be
counseling soldiers returning from battle in
Iraq and Afghanistan .

That, Mr. Obama
is the “Muslim heritage” in America
.

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not
ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard
working American people for paying $242 thousand
dollars for my vacation in Spain .

My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends,
my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time.

Honestly, you just haven’t lived until you have stayed
in a $2,500.00 per night private 3-story villa at a 5-Star luxury hotel.

Thank you also for the use of Air Force Two
and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged
along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.
By the way, if you happen to be visiting the Costa del Sol ,
I highly recommend the Buenaventura Plaza restaurant
in Marbella ; great lobster with rice and oysters!
I’m ashamed to admit the lobsters we ate in Martha’s Vineyard were not quite as tasty,
but what can you do if you’re not in Europe , you have to just grin and bear it?

Air Force Two (which costs $11,351 per hour to operate
according to Government Accounting Office reports)
only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip
and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2.

These are only rough estimates, but they are close.
That’s quite a carbon footprint as my good friend
Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American
citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and
drive less too, so we can lessen our combined
carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling
to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet.
So I do appreciate your sacrifices and do hope you
find work soon.

I was really exhausted after Barack took our family
on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago.
I just had to get away for a few days.

on some wires or something.

our two-week trip to Hawaii at Christmas. That 7,000
square foot house was great!

and now the girls and I are in Africa with my mom.
All this while Barack golf’s and campaigns to
keep my trips coming for the next 4 years !

This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii
For his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and
Causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his
Body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until
Now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the
President.

Dear President Obama,

My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year.
People meeting me for the first time don’t believe my age because I
Remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and
After WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos’n Mate. Now I live in a “rest
Home” located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep
Alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind,
Blunt and direct even to the head man.

So here goes.

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do,
But you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.

I can’t figure out what country you are the president of.
You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies
Like:
“We’re no longer a Christian nation”
” America is arrogant” – (Your wife even
Announced to the world,” America is mean-
Spirited. ” Please tell her to try preaching
That nonsense to 23 generations of our
War dead buried all over the globe who
Died for no other reason than to free a
Whole lot of strangers from tyranny and
Hopelessness.)
I’d say shame on the both of you, but I don’t think you like America, nor
Do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious
Gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a
Dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

After 9/11 you said, ” America hasn’t lived up to her ideals.”

Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000
Farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or
Maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000
Men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn’t mean the ideal 470,000
Fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died
For in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation
Push us around, because we stand for freedom.

I don’t think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than
Discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people
Understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.

Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don’t, I’ll do what I
Can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue
. You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of
Murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump
To conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow
Soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don’t want us to do what
You did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college
Professor in Massachusetts , who was putting up a fight? You don’t mind
Offending the police calling them stupid but you don’t want us to offend
Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had
To defend your country with your life, but you’re the Commander-in-Chief
Now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you
For 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if
You’re not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American
Soldier is not worth the best political strategy you’re thinking of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest
Challenge ever presented to any president.
You’re not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our
Bloated economy. That’s not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and
soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now.
And I sure as hell don’t want to think my president is the enemy in this
final battle…

Political Correctness a Cancer on America

I am a sixty-seven year old white male retired from the US Army and a second career with a Large Defense contractor. I have a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science, and an Associate of Arts degree. My professions allowed me to travel throughout Europe, Middle East and Far East enjoying the cultural and culinary treasures of the world.
The experiences of my life cause me to know without a doubt that America is the best place in the world to grow from birth to adulthood. These same experiences and education enable me to see the decline of the greatest nation in the world through the cancer of political correctness. I challenge each of you to look at your daily life and the life of those around you and find ways to improve our nation. We live in constant fear of offending someone through word or action. However if you profess Christianity as a follower of Jesus Christ you can be denigrated, mocked, in every form of media as well as our own president with no regard for truth or decency. Yet our elected representatives consider themselves elitist, passing laws that affect you and me but not our elected representatives. Why do we meekly accept this hideous practice and not strongly express our disgust with these policies. Your representatives have excellent health care, expensive offices, and travel freely on our military transportation and shun any real contact with the people they are elected to represent.

The terms of addressing or speaking about persons of color have evolved from derogatory terms to the apathetic term of African American. To me the term African American signifies that the individual does not consider himself or herself to be deserving of called an American. I am not suggesting that we revert to the derogatory terms of the 1700-early 1900’s however the term black, or person of color is not derogatory. My thought is that if you are so enamored with Africa then move there to live. If you choose rather to live in America and enjoy the immense opportunities and benefits of living in the greatest nation in the world then be proud to be an American and support it. You are an American first and then whatever ethnic background of your ancestors. Your live in the greatest country in the world, have more freedoms, rights and liberties than anywhere else in the world. Encompass America, not some distant land where no freedoms or liberties exist. We do not degenerate any other ethnic race except Negro with the un-American term that describes them as something less than American

Religious freedom is another of the great freedoms granted by the Article one of the constitution of the United States. The constant maligning of Christians by the media, politicians, and Hollywood is accepted and even expected, but say anything about Islam or Muslims and everyone starts apologizing. American citizens are subject to police state actions by our present government as we attempt to travel or exercise our constitutional rights. Our government violates our bodies, tramples our fourth amendment rights and we stand by like dumb sheep. Where are the Christians, why are their tongues silent, why is their letter writing non-existent, why are their phone calls to congressional representatives and senators never made? It is your responsibility to hold your congressional representative, senators and president to account for their actions. There should not be a thought of the silent majority accomplishing anything. Call, write, fax, visit your congressional representatives and senators assure that they know your thoughts on their actions.

Do you ever express your concerns with the consistent pampering of known enemies of our nation by a fearful government? Are you amazed at the voluminous diatribes aimed at our nation by radical Muslims? Our government states that they can do cavity searches of American citizens but are willing to give Muslims a pass because it might offend them. What about demeaning and offending the Americans who built this country with their sweat and money? Where is the outrage over damning Christians and our Christian nation? It is time to demand that your congressional representative and senators stand up and support the constitution of the United States and that the President of the United States protect our borders against all enemies.
Politics is becoming a four-letter word with the connotation of evil, greed, corruption, and self-effacing, self-elevating group of individuals unaware of the world outside the DC beltway. Do you question whether your congressional representative or senator has read the Declaration of Independence or Constitution of the United States since high school civics class? I think it is great that our 112th congress is going to read the U.S. Constitution aloud in the House of Representatives when they convene.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

Do you understand and hold our government to reality of why they are elected and what their purpose in government is? Do not shun your responsibility and right as a citizen of America to stay informed and be active in the running of your nation by holding your elective representatives responsible for their actions. The label of Democrat, Republican or Libertarian you attach to yourself does not matter what matters is the saving of our rapidly dissolving Republic the United States of America.

Dear President Calderon (& Mexican Senate),

I’m planning to move my family (my wife is currently pregnant) and extended family into Mexico, and I would like to ask you to assist me. We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. Please note that I will be expecting the following:

1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. All Mexican government forms need to also be printed in English.
4. I want my children to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bilingual) teachers.
5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my kids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.
7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver’s license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico, but I don’t plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won’t make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers do not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put U.S. flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.
13. Please tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say a critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.

Thank you, I am sure this can be accomplished easily as America has been doing this for many years!

HATS OFF TO CHARLIE DANIELS….AT LEAST HE HAS THE COURAGE TO SPEAK HIS MIND!!!

I don’t know how everybody else feels about it, but to me I
think Hispanic people in this country, legally or illegally,
made a huge public relations mistake with their recent demonstrations.

I don’t blame anybody in the world for wanting to come to the
United States of America , as it is a truly wonderful place.

But when the first thing you do when you set foot on American soil is illegal it is flat out wrong and I don’t care how many lala land left heads come out of the woodwork and start trying
to give me sensitivity lessons.

I don’t need sensitivity lessons, in fact I don’t have any-thing against Mexicans! I just have something against criminals and anybody who comes into this country illegally is a criminal
and if you don’t believe it try coming into America from a foreign country without a passport and see how far you get. What disturbs me about the demonstrations is that it’s tanta-mount to saying, “I am going to come into your country even if it means breaking your laws and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

It’s an “in your face” action and speaking just for me, I don’t like it one little bit and if there were a half dozen pairs of gonads in Washington bigger than English peas it wouldn’t be happening.

Where are you, you bunch of lily livered, pantywaist, forked tongued, sorry excuses for defenders of The Constitution? Have you been drinking the water out of the Potomac again?
And even if you pass a bill on immigration it will probably be so pork laden and watered down that it won’t mean anything anyway Besides, what good is another law going to do when you
won’t enforce the ones on the books now?

And what ever happened to the polls, guys? I thought you folks were the quintessential finger wetters. Well you sure ain’t paying any attention to the polls this time because somewhere around eighty percent of Americans want some thing done about this mess, and mess it is and getting bigger everyday.

This is no longer a problem, it is a dilemma and headed for being a tragedy. Do you honestly think that what happened in France with the Muslims can’t happen here when the businesses who hire these people finally run out of jobs and a few million disillusioned Hispanics take to the streets?

If you, Mr. President, Congressmen and Senators, knuckle under on this and refuse to do something meaningful it means that you care nothing for the kind of country your children and grand-children will inherit. But I guess that doesn’t matter as long as you get re-elected.
Shame on you.
One of the big problems in America today is that if you have the nerve to say anything derogatory about any group of people (except Christians) you are going to be screamed at by the media and called a racist, a bigot and anything else they can think of to call you

Well I’ve been pounded by the media before and I’m still rockin’ and rollin’ and when it comes to speaking the truth I fear not.
And the truth is that the gutless, gonadless, milksop politicians are just about to sell out the United States of America because they don’t have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to face reality.

And reality is that we would never allow any other group of people to have 12 million illegal in this country and turn around and say, “Oh it’s ok, ya’ll can stay here if you’ll just allow us to slap your wrist.”

And I know that some of you who read this column are saying “Well what’s wrong with that?”
I’ll tell you what’s wrong with it. These people could be from Mars as far as we know. We don’t know who they are, where they are or what they’re up to and the way the Congress is going we’re not going to.

Does this make sense? Labor force you say? We already subsidize corporate agriculture as it is, must we subsidize their labor as well?
If these people were from Haiti would we be so fast to turn a blind eye to them or if they were from Somalia or Afghanistan ?
I think not.

All the media shows us are pictures of hard working Hispanics who have crossed the border just to try to better their life.
They don’t show you pictures of the Feds rounding up members of MS 13, the violent gang who came across the same way the decent folks did. They don’t tell you about the living conditions of the Mexican illegal some fat cat hired to pick his crop.

I want to make two predictions.

No. 1: This situation is going to grow and fester until it erupts in violence on our streets while the wimps in Washington drag their toes in the dirt and try to figure how many tons of political hay they can make to the acre.

No 2: Somebody is going to cross that border with some kind of weapon of mass destruction and set it off in a major American city after which there will be a backlash such as this country has never experienced and the Capitol building in Washington will probably tilt as Congressmen and Senators rush to the other side of the issue.

I don’t know about you but I would love to see just one major politician stand up and say, “I don’t care who I make mad and I don’t care how many votes I lose, this is a desperate situation and I’m going to lead the fight to get it straightened out.”
I don’t blame anybody for wanting to come to America , but if you don’t respect our immigration laws why should you respect any others?
And by the way, this is America and our flag has stars and stripes Please get that other one out of my face.

We adopted this motto because Christian men
and women – on Christian principles – founded
this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls
of our schools.
It is Time for America to Speak up

Born and Raised!

My name is d’Lynn.  I’m a disabled Vietnam vet.  I don’t look too bad for a beat-up old fart, do I?  And that’s my ride.  She’s looking pretty good looking also, especially when you consider that she’ll turn twenty this summer.  That’s right, it’s a 1990 with a 1990 sidecar.  I can’t ride a solo bike, ergo the sidecar rig.  It’s my sole means of transportation – rain or shine, snow or wind, and this summer also marks a milestone in both of our lives, as I will finally be able to pay her off.  Twenty years old?  What?  Why did it take so long?  You weren’t paying attention, were you?  It’s right at the beginning of this paragraph.  I am a disabled vet, which means I receive a veterans administration disability pension, which also means “I’m broke!”  Just one step ahead of being homeless every month, and that’s not an idle statement or an”Oh, whoa is me” dire complaint.  There’s a point to this, so hang in there a minute or two and read on.

There’s a 25-year-old illegal immigrant woman living in Florida , with eight kids.  Yes, eight “anchor babies” and she receives just shy of $1,500 per month per kid, plus medical, plus food stamps.  Oh, wait.  I’ve been informed that I shouldn’t call them Food Stamps anymore.  That’s not PC.  It’s all called “Social Assistance” now.  You do the math on that yourself.  I’d say that she was schooled early in how to make it in the system.  Twenty-five years old, eight kids . . . . . yep, she started early.
You can whip out the calculator if you want, but this women who never has paid a dime in taxes of any kind, (and still doesn’t – she’s ‘illegal,’ remember?) is here in this country illegally.  She hasn’t paid one one cent in medical for all the “anchor babies,” makes more in one month, legally, than I receive in over a year and a half in disability payments and I can’t even get food stamps!  Oops, I mean “Social Assistance.”
Technically I am eligible for “Social Assistance.”  I was told it would be a walk through – a gimme – being disabled.  No problem, and in the very next breath I was also informed that under the law the amount I received in “Social Assistance” would be deducted from my disability pension.
Let’s say I take a great photograph.  It was just luck, a one of a kind accidental, in the right place at the right time shot.  My local newspaper offers me fifty bucks to use the photo in a featured story.  (I live in a small town and fifty bucks is all they could afford.)  I have to report that fifty dollars to the VA as earned income,  which will immediately be deducted from my next month’s disability check.  If I don’t report it I’m in violation of federal law and technically they can stop my disability pension and prosecute me under a federal felony.  Pretty cool, eh?  For fifty bucks.
I see no point in dealing with two federal bureaucracies, so I don’t bother.  What’s the point?
She’s here illegally and with just one kid would make over twice what I receive per month.  She has eight and she’s not a stand-out case.  She’s not alone.  That’s the way the system works.  Millions of illegal immigrants know this, know how the system works and know how to use it.  (Haven’t you seen the pamphlet?  It’s handed out all along our borders, “The Illegal Immigrants’ Guide to Keeping America Just The Way It Is.”) and that’s just the way it works.
Did you know that the federal government provides a “refugee” in this country with a monthly “stipend” of $1,890, plus $580 a month in “Social Assistance?” That’s $2,470 a month, tax-free.  That’s two and a half times what I’m allowed to receive as a disabled vet.  And just what did they do to earn this?  All you have to do is show up on our collective doorstep, raise your right hand and swear that you’re a refugee and, bingo, receive $30,000 a year, tax-free.  That’s more than someone making $15 an hour, and they have to pay taxes to boot!

Now, in defense of the Veterans Administration, they are doing what they can with what they’ve got.  This is precious little compared to what they should have to get the job done.  At least this country has a VA.  It’s the Senate that keeps passing laws, rules and guidelines, cutting their budget, denying requests for more staff and computer systems to handle the massive work flow.  Their hands are tied by the very government that’s supposed to give them what they need to get the job done, by the government you voted into office.  Don’t scream at the VA.  I have.  It’s misguided anger.

The point to this “story?”  Just why are you paying such high taxes to support this incredibly screwed-up government?  Why?  And I’m not proposing you stop paying your taxes.  That’s wrong.  There are good programs and reasons to pay your taxes and support our government.  What am I proposing?  It’s quite simple.  Vote.
The government, our government, is broken and we as the voters serve as the maintenance crew.  We fix it . . . . . by voting.
If your state Senator has been in office more then two terms, vote ‘em out at the next election.  If your state representative has been in office more then two terms, vote ‘em out of office.  We put term limits on just about every publicly-elected official in the country except the House and Senate.  Why?  Believe me, they know this and love it!  Ahhh – the power!
I don’t care how much you believe your Senator or Representative is doing a good job.  They’re not!  Look at the government you have, that we have.  How can you state they are doing what you want as the voter that put them there?  How?
Vote them out of office.  Do it.
Change the course of this country’s history by what you are granted and guaranteed under the law.  Vote!  And if you have the guts, the anger, the outrage, start a petition in your state for a state-wide initiative to be placed on your next state ballot.  Limiting the terms of office for your state senators and state representatives to your  federal government to two terms.
The federal government will never pass such a law, but you can.  You can get it done.  You can force it.  You can make it a law.

This is the first step in “getting it right.”  Just vote.  It’s simple.  It’s easy, dammit!
This first step will send a very clear message. It’ll work.  It’ill put “us” back in control of “them.”  As it should be.  As it was intended in the first place.

Are you an American?  Born and raised?  Then vote!

Side note:  I sent this e-mail to a little over one hundred on my e-mail list.  If you believe I’m wrong or misguided or you simply don’t agree, that’s fine.  Go right ahead a delete this e-mail.  No problem.  Sorry to have bothered you.  But if you think I just might have a worthwhile idea, something we can easily accomplish, something that could be a small part at getting this country back under “our” control, then please pass this along.

True confessions from America’s census workers

Michelle MalkinPresident Obama’s politicized, profligate U.S. census drive is so desperate for positive press that it has now recruited former Bush senior adviser Karl Rove to do public service announcements. Rove pleads on video: “Please answer the 10 easy questions. They’re almost the same ones Madison helped write for the first census back in 1790.” Message: If you don’t join the census bandwagon, James Madison will have lost!

Sorry, Mr. Rove. Playing the Founding Fathers card isn’t going to quell conservative criticism of how the Obama administration has exploited the census boondoggle for both economic and ideological gain.

For the record, I have no beef with the constitutional mandate. I complied by filling out my census form and sending it back — with “American” in the blank for race/ethnicity to register my opposition to government racial classifications. Despite apocalyptic suggestions by census officials and some Republican politicians that conservatives are recklessly boycotting the decennial head count, analysis by both the right-leaning Daily Caller and left-leaning Plum Line websites shows that return rates from conservative counties are in line with national averages.

So, what makes the Obama census campaign different from other census programs? First, its naked, left-wing special-interest pandering. The White House is championing a “Queer the Census” movement by pro-gay marriage groups, for example, and the Commerce Department is working with open-borders leaders who want to use the census as leverage to stop all immigration raids.

The electoral stakes are high. Some $400 billion in federal funding and, most importantly, the apportionment of congressional seats are up for grabs. Instead of straightforward enumeration of the American population, Obama and the left’s identity politics-mongers are turning the $1 billion, taxpayer-subsidized census public relations drive into a government-preferences lobbying bonanza.

More galling: the White House manipulation of census worker employment to goose the jobless rate. Last week, the government touted employment figures bolstered by the hiring of temporary workers for Census 2010. The Census Bureau anticipates it may add nearly 750,000 workers to its payroll by May. Liberal economist Heidi Shierholz exulted in The Hill: “This is the best-timed census you could ever dream of.” And Team Obama plans to milk it for all it’s worth.

Over the past several weeks, I’ve received e-mails from census workers across the country describing the directive from their managers to slow down, stall, waste time and stretch out their work unnecessarily. As a counter-public service announcement, I’m reprinting some of their letters:

- “…I have been working with the census for two weeks, and every day I shake my head at the blatant inefficiency and deliberate misuse of taxpayer money. Specifically, we have been doing enumeration for those who do not have a home, the homeless in shelters, soup kitchens and in targeted non-sheltered outdoor locations, such as parks, subway stations, etc. I personally have been sent to check on shelters that were already determined to be day programs during the preceding round of quality control, yet they pay me the mileage and hourly wage to go back and make sure that they are still only day programs. I walked through parks and parking lots looking for homeless people to enumerate, not even by talking to them, but just by observing their race, sex and approximate age….

“…The way the process has been set up by government bureaucracy is so backward and prevents a person who is industrious and efficient from being able to work freely….This is the first job where I am encouraged to be slow and inefficient.”

- “Last summer I participated in the ‘address canvassing’ (AC) project. What this entailed was walking around a neighborhood, literally door to door, with a little handheld computer. My job was not to enter addresses so that these people could receive their form, but to make sure that the addresses that the first wave of people put into the system and appeared on the computer were actually there….Mostly, it was me getting paid $15.25/hour plus mileage to take my dog for a walk and push a few buttons.

“In an average suburban neighborhood where the houses are somewhat close to each other, it was no problem to do about 35 to 40 addresses per hour once you learned how to quickly enter data into the computer. The census said that I should be doing about 12 to 15 per hour. My direct bosses told me that I should NOT be doing 35 to 40, because it was making them and other people look bad. So instead of walking at a snail’s pace, I just did my 35 to 40/hour and doubled my time when I submitted my hours. Again, sorry for the tax dollar grab, but I was told not to be so darned efficient or else I’d be cut!”

- “I had the great pleasure of working for the address canvassing last spring. I was hired in early April for a job that was to be completed by the first week of July. I have a military background and a background in human resources, and the whole process left me with blood squirting from my eyes….I worked in the field for four days so that I would know what to do. The remainder of my time was spent sitting in a McDonald’s to have a daily progress meeting with each of the enumerators. I was paid from the time I left my house to the time I got home…plus mileage. I was told to pad the time or mileage to cover my McDonald’s food, since I was camping in a booth all day. For all that, I was paid $11.75 an hour….We had a really good crew and were done by the second week of May….Philadelphia was going nuts because our region was getting done so fast, but there was nothing we could do to slow it down another two months.

“… I never saw such a mismanaged outfit in all my life. I just shook my head in total disbelief. Our work could have been done with half the people. We did have those that quit right after training, to the tune of $800 spent on nothing. I earned approximately $3,000. I will say, to be quite honest, it was the easiest money I ever made. On the exit interview, I was asked if I wanted to be called back for further work. I wrote ‘NO’ in big letters. I didn’t want to take any further part in what I saw to be a racket.”

What would Madison think now?

I’m Tired” by Robert A. Hall


I’ll  be 63 soon. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce,` and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I’ve worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven’t called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there’s no retirement in sight, and I’m tired. Very tired.

I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth around” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy or stupid to earn it.

I’m tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to “keep people in their homes.”  Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I’m willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.

I’m tired of being told how bad America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros, and Hollywood entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the economy of Zimbabwe , the freedom of the press of China , the crime and violence of Mexico , the tolerance for Christian people of Iran , and the freedom of speech of Venezuela . Won’t multiculturalism be beautiful?

I’m tired of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family “honor”; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t “believers”; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for “adultery”; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur’an and Shari’a law tells them to.

I  believe “a man  should be judged by the content of his character, not by the color of his skin.” I’m tired of being told that “race doesn’t matter” in the post-racial world of Obama, when it’s all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of US Senators from Illinois.

I think it’s very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the emancipation proclamation. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.

I’m tired of a news media that thinks Bush’s fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama’s, at triple the cost, were wonderful; that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush’s military records, but never demanded that Kerry release his; that slammed Palin, with two years as governor, for being too inexperienced for VP, but touted Obama with three years as senator as potentially the best president ever. Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching to Fox News? Get a clue. I didn’t vote for Bush in 2000, but the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.

I’m tired of being told that out of “tolerance for other cultures” we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America , while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue, or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.

I’m tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global` warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs. We also own a  three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore’s, and if you’re greener than Gore, you’re green enough.

I’m tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I don’t think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I damn sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I’m tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.

I’m tired of illegal aliens being called “undocumented workers,” especially the ones who aren’t working, but are living on welfare or crime. What’s next? Calling drug dealers, “Undocumented Pharmacists”? And, no, I’m not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it’s been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion.  I’m willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn’t have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three years in our military…. Those are the citizens we need.

I’m tired of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a recruiting station, trashing our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in war? You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave?  Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are? Not even close. So here’s the deal. I’ll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we’ll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

I’m tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption. Read the papers; bums are bipartisan. And I’m tired of people telling me we need bipartisanship.  I live in Illinois , where the “Illinois Combine” of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama’s cabinet as well.

I’m tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers, and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

Speaking of poor, I’m tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn’t have that in 1970, but we didn’t know we were “poor.” The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.

I’m real tired of people who don’t take responsibility for their lives and actions. I’m tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination, or big-whatever for their problems.

Yes, I’m damn tired. But I’m also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I’m not going to have to see the world these people are making. I’m just sorry for my granddaughter.

Allen West on Fort Hood Massacre

This past Thursday 13 American Soldiers were killed and another 30 wounded at a horrific mass shooting at a US Army installation, Ft Hood, Texas. As I watched in horror and then anger I recalled my two years of final service in the Army as a Battalion Commander at Ft Hood, 2002-2004.
My wife and two daughters were stunned at the incident having lived on the post in family housing.
A military installation, whether it is Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, or Coast Guard, is supposed to be a safe sanctuary for our Warriors and their families. It is intended to provide a home whereby our Band of Brothers and Sisters can find solace and bond beyond just the foxhole but as family units.
A military installation is supposed to be a place where our Warriors train for war, to serve and protect our Nation.
On Thursday, 5 November 2009, Ft Hood became a part of the battlefield in the war against Islamic totalitarianism and state sponsored terrorism.
There may be those who feel threatened by my words and would even recommend they not be uttered. To those individuals I say step aside because now is not the time for cowardice. Our Country has become so paralyzed by political correctness that we have allowed a vile and determined enemy to breach what should be the safest place in America, an Army post.
We have become so politically correct that our media is more concerned about the stress of the shooter, Major Nidal Malik Hasan. The misplaced benevolence intending to portray him as a victim is despicable. The fact that there are some who have now created an entire new classification called; pre-virtual vicarious Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is unconscionable.
This is not a man caused disaster. It is what it is, an Islamic jihadist attack.


We have seen this before in 2003 when a SGT Hasan of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) threw hand grenades and opened fire into his Commanding Officers tent in Kuwait. We have seen the foiled attempt of Albanian Muslims who sought to attack Ft Dix, NJ. Recently we saw a young convert to Islam named Carlos Bledsoe travel to Yemen, receive terrorist training, and return to gun down two US Soldiers at a Little Rock, Arkansas Army recruiting station. We thwarted another Islamic terrorist plot in North Carolina which had US Marine Corps Base, Quantico as a target.


What have we done with all these prevalent trends? Nothing.
What we see are recalcitrant leaders who are refusing to confront the issue, Islamic terrorist infiltration into America, and possibly further into our Armed Services. Instead we have a multiculturalism and diversity syndrome on steroids.
Major Hasan should have never been transferred to Ft Hood, matter of fact he should have been Chaptered from the Army. His previous statements, poor evaluation reports, and the fact that the FBI had him under investigation for jihadist website posting should have been proof positive.
However, what we have is a typical liberal approach to find a victim, not the 13 and 30 Soldiers and Civilian, but rather the poor shooter. A shooter who we are told was a great American, who loved the Army and serving his Nation and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) stating that his actions had nothing to do with religious belief.
We know that Major Hasan deliberately planned this episode; he did give away his possessions. He stood atop a table in the confined space of the Soldier Readiness Center shouting Allahu Akhbar, same chant as the 9-11 terrorists and those we fight against overseas in the Iraq and Afghanistan theaters of operation.


No one in leadership seems willing to sound the alarm for the American people; they are therefore complicit in any future attacks. Our Congress should suspend the insidious action to vote on a preposterous and unconstitutional healthcare bill and resolve the issue of protecting the American people.
The recent incidents in Dearborn Michigan, Boston Massachusetts, Dallas Texas, and Chicago Illinois should bear witness to the fact that we have an Islamic terrorism issue in America. And don’t have CAIR call me and try to issue a vanilla press statement; they are an illegitimate terrorist-associated organization which should be disbanded.


We have Saudi Arabia funding close to 80% of the mosques in the United States, one right here in South Florida, Pompano Beach. Are we building churches and synagogues in Saudi Arabia? Are Kaffirs and Infidels allowed travel to Mecca?
So much for peaceful coexistence.


Saudi Arabia is sponsoring radical Imams who enter into our prisons and convert young men into a virulent Wahabbist ideology, one resulting in four individuals wanting to destroy synagogues in New York with plastic explosives. Thank God the explosives were dummy. They are sponsoring textbooks which present Islamic centric revisionist history in our schools.
We must recognize that there is an urgent need to separate the theo-political radical Islamic ideology out of our American society. We must begin to demand surveillance of suspected Imams and mosques that are spreading hate and preaching the overthrow of our Constitutional Republicthat speech is not protected under First Amendment, it is sedition and if done by an American, treason.

There should not be some 30 Islamic terrorist training camps in America. That has nothing to do with First Amendment, Freedom of Religion. The Saudis are not our friends and any American political figure who believes that is delusional.
When tolerance becomes a one-way street it certainly leads to cultural suicide.

We are on that street. Liberals cannot be trusted to defend our Republic, because their sympathies obviously lie with their perceived victim, Major Nidal Malik Hasan.
I make no apologies for these words, and anyone angered by them, please, go to Ft Hood and look into the eyes of the real victims. The tragedy at Ft Hood Texas did not have to happen. Consider now the feelings of those there and on every military installation in the world. Consider the feelings of the Warriors deployed into combat zones who now are concerned that their loved ones at home are in a combat zone.
Ft Hood suffered an Islamic jihadist attack, stop the denial, and realize a simple point.


The reality of your enemy must become your own.
